Dead Zone: Last Stand is a first-person zombie survival shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players step into the shoes of Joe, a battle-hardened ex-soldier with a loving family, who discovers that a deadly outbreak has begun to consume the nation.

The story unfolds with a mysterious past — one of Joe’s former unit members, a soldier involved in virus research, abandoned his post at the lab to serve his country. However, he was later court-martialed for allegedly leaking sensitive information to an independent weapons development company. Since then, all contact with him was lost.

One day, news breaks about an attack on the home of a scientist studying brain-controlling fungi. A week later, chaos erupts — a viral outbreak turns people into violent, cannibalistic creatures. As society collapses, Joe realizes he must get his family to safety.

In the midst of the panic, Joe receives a mysterious call from a distressed man claiming there is a cure:
"We can cure them… reach Lab 2, 24th Street, Block 30, New York..."
Before the call drops, faint zombie growls echo in the background.

Joe sends his family to a secure military base under the protection of his fellow veteran friends. Determined to uncover the truth and stop the infection, he sets out on a perilous journey from California to New York.

With limited weapons and supplies, players must navigate a crumbling urban landscape, battling relentless waves of infected. Survival hinges on resource management, exploration, strategic planning, and precise shooting and must survive rescue the scientist and find the culprit and cure the infected.
